About the artwork

While we can’t change the past, we can change the present, and by doing so, will change the future! Our pasts are not written in stone but instead are fluid, always being recast through the lens of the present. Renouncing of ego (represented in the painting by the chains of the past), we can become more spiritual beings (represented by the holy halo and the light coming out from the man) and this way we can save the planet from self destruction (represented by the funeal stone and the dark smoke surrounding our beautiful home) This painting is an ispiration after Charles Dickens' "Christmas Carol" story
